Florida News Flash was born out of a passion to bring a balanced news alternative to the Nature Coast of Florida. The company was founded in the spring of 2014 and began covering local news in earnest that August in the digital and social media space.
Thomas Jefferson said in 1786, “Our liberty cannot be guarded but by the freedom of the press, nor that be limited without danger of losing it.”
With that in mind, Florida News Flash takes its role in protecting your liberty very seriously and will work hard to shine a light on government and their activities.
Sam McCall is the editor of Florida News Flash. Sam founded one of the first digital news mediums in Hernando County. Sam then worked for WWJB/WXJB as their News Director before helping establish Florida News Flash in 2014.
